History

Over 400 years ago, our beautiful canal house did not look like it does today, it consisted of two seperate buildings. About 140 years ago, it was rebuilt to its present state. On this page we would like to share some stories about former owners, renters and businesses that once were part of this magnificent history, stories that took place in this very building.

"staff are so kind and helpfull . Rick, Suzan Anna and Amin - they where really nice and helpfull, thank you so much, guys ::) Great great location! in the middle of everything!!!! The hotel rented us bicycles and took care of anything that we needed to fix with it-that was soooo helpfull because this is the best way to travel in Amsterdam, and it is very comfotable when the renting is actualy at "home" ... We didn`t take beakfast - no needed, there is a great Delli really next to the hotel . take right and then at the corner - again right and you will find them we got a veiw to the canal which was great although in the middle of everything - very quite, noise isolated - exelent! The bed is the most comfortable bed I`ve ever slept in :) I wish I could take it with me :) "

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, good location (close to everything and very convenient, there is even a bike rental just next to the hotel). Our room was 104, with canal view. Very nice toilet. Cleaning well done. We were even able to check out and store our luggage. I would definitely recommend again. Especially if you are on a low budget."
